All Surf Computers are easily upgradeable. We recommend that
when you first order your system you consider your present and
future needs.
- Does everything I need come with my
system?
Every Surf Computer comes complete with all necessary disks,
CD's and manuals necessary to run and understand your system. Each
computer system is custom built with your needs in mind.
- Can we call if we have questions?
Sure! We
attempt to answer your most frequently asked questions. However,
there is much to learn with the new computer systems, especially
with Windows XP Home and Windows XP Professional technology. Often, we can walk you
through a new procedure over the telephone. For a more in-depth
understanding of your computer.
- Can you match lower advertised
prices?
We can match any locally advertised price, with strong
reservations. It is our desire to provide our customers with a
quality computer system designed to provide excellent
entertainment and educational experiences. Computer systems at
drastically lower prices often use inferior or low-end components.

- Why should I buy a Surf Computer?
QUALITY- We use only top of the line,
quality products in each system we build. names like Intel,
Creative and Maxtor. We offer a variety of software and hardware
products, often with their own excellent manufacturer's warranty.
For instance, our Canon printers come with Canon Creative
software, a toll free, 24 hours/day, 7 days/ week support line and
a two year warranty. For the first year, Canon will even come
right to your door to pickup your printer for repair and give you
a brand new printer, all with no shipping charges.
HONESTY - We will not knowingly sell any
pirated software. Microsoft Canada states that over 42% of
software sold is counterfeit! Of all the software that Microsoft
sells, Microsoft Windows 95 and 98 is the favorite of
counterfeiters, and now most new computer systems offer Windows
XP, making it much more dificult to Counterfeit. Counterfeit
software is often corrupted or "buggy" and proceeds from their
sales have been linked to organized crime in Canada. Do you want
to support organized crime by intentionally purchasing illegal
software? Make sure your software is legitimate; ask us about
security features on software packaging and CD's.
We do not practice hard drive loading -
where software is loaded onto your new computer's hard drive
without the customer actually purchasing the full version. While
this practice may seem ideal for some people, not having the
actual program means that the program is lost if it becomes
corrupt or your system "crashes".

SERVICE- Surf & Turf Computers offers
a comprehensive warranty. Components of new computer systems that
prove to be defective will be replaced, and the service work is
free.
TRAINING-
Surf Computers offers a variety of classes, both individual
and classroom settings. Windows is our most popular class, but
we also offer classes on the Internet, scanners,
Simply Accounting and classes that target the more
technical minded consumer.
